vent window delete

Am considering installing 1 pc windows. I like the way it makes the cab look a bit more open. Have many of you put these in? Mike Nutt only says they are a pain in the a$$. If running ac you don't need the vent windows anyway. Where from and how much?

Re: vent window delete

i believe the vent windows funtion as a vent for cig/cigar smoke.
thats what i use it for,..
works well.
but if i had a choice id go 1 piece.
and just crack the window.

Re: vent window delete

Yeah trucks had them atleast into the early eighties. My dads old 83 had them I am positive, not sure beyond that. But I say keep the vent windows, look sweet on these trucks

Re: vent window delete

Actually the trucks all had the vent windows up to 87 in the reg pickups and 91 in the burbs, blazers and bigger trucks using the 87 body style. I am looking at several trucks having one pc windows and think it makes the cab look a bit bigger or roomier. Looks like the cost is higher than I anticipated but still under consideration. It's a ways down the road before I have to address it but giving it thought now. I like the way Mike Nutts orange truck looks. Thanks guys.
