just picked up my project

Well, I'm definitely a newbie when it comes to this year of truck. I know I have tons to learn and plan on it during the course of the rebuild but I can't wait. This project will be one my grandfather and I do together. He has parkinsons and has been declining over the past years. He has always wanted to work on a hotrod and this is our chance to try our skills. I can't wait to get started, I picked this guy up today for 600 bucks. inline 6 with msd ignition, threespeed on the floor(aftermarket shifter), the plans are notched rear and bags all around, this will be a complete rebuild, frame off, I am so stinkin pumped.

I would really appreciate it if someone could chop this for me. It will be the same color when finished, but it will be dropped over a set of black 20's or 22's.

Re: just picked up my project

snacob14,

First off welcome.....

To get some photoshop work done on your truck go over to the Photoshop Forum, (link below) read the FAQ's up toward the top of the page. When you are done with that go back to the PShop forum, ask nice and say thank you. I've looked at their work and it's awsome. I have tried some photoshop touchup and it isn't easy to do. Also, give them some time after you put in a request, to get back to you. Some people are a little impatient after they request mods on their truck....

And I think it is great that you and your grandfather are doing this. You will make memories that will last your lifetime as well as making a great truck. Looks like you have a great truck to start with. Reminds me of mine when I got it. Check out my past and present....www.PictureTrail.com/KP1972
I am still not done but it has been fun.
