Cool New from Seattle,WA

Hi, my name is Riley and I live in Seattle, WA. I have a 1952 Chevy 1/2 ton that I have taken down to the frame and now I am so close to having it running again. I also have a 1968 GMC 1/2 ton with a stock 305 V6 that is giving me trouble, specifically the carburetor which is keeping it from being a daily driver. I look forward to talking with fellow enthusiasts and sharing tips and info.

Re: New from Seattle,WA

Riley, Welcome from Kent, WA! I have a Chevy 305 V-8 that you can have to replace that GMC 305 V-6. I've had two V-6's and don't really like them or they don't like me...LOL!

The 305 is missing lots of parts but it will bolt right to your tranny, it spins over and is good near as I can tell. It is missing the 4-barrel carb, water pump and starter. It has the motor mounts manifolds and torque converter...yours if you want it.

Carb rebuild is easy...the kit is inexpensive and the instructions are in the box...so easy a caveman can do it...LOL!
