What's your opinion?

Alright guy's I was going to buy a 06' CC. After reading things about the ride, brakes and them not sitting level i've got some second thoughts. I really like the body style of these trucks and i've had a new 03' 4x4 a few years ago and didn't have a single problem with it. So I guess what i'm asking is if you had it to do all over again, would you buy another one? I don't know that i'm that concerned if it's ride is a little ruff because i'm used to lowered vehicles so that's not a huge issue.

Re: What's your opinion?

It's really all in how you look at it. If you are going to lower it anyway, the level thing really should not be an issue. I didn't mind the ride in my '05, and the brakes just took a few days to get used to. I would buy another one, if I wanted another truck. With the new body style hitting the ground, the new ones should be getting pretty cheap. If they come off the price like I think they will, I will probably end up with either a crew or extended cab again. We have one here on our lot that hit a pole coming off the transport truck. If the rebates get right again, it's mine.

Re: What's your opinion?

none of those concerns are enough to stop me from a purchase
rear drums
discrepancies in left to right cab height
a firmed ride
what else would you get
a ford, come on

Re: What's your opinion?

I won't buy another one of the current body style even if there aren't many other choices out there. I have an 04 Dodge QC that rides much better, and the brakes are far superior. On the other hand, the interior noise is much better on the Chevy.

My Dodge was loaded so it came with a premium sound system. The Chevy is a Silverado but doesn't have a top of the line system. I am being nice when I say it sounds like sh!t. It's has the cheapest piece of crap speakers possible.

I have also owned an 02 Harley edition F-150. Even though I didn't put many miles on it, it was still a much better truck in most aspects. The Chevy has better rear seating, but that where it ends.

Sorry guys, I am as Chevy loyal as logic allows. I will test drive an 07 GM truck, but if it's no better than this one I dang sure won't buy one.
