What to offer? price?

Well guys i am a regulare at the next threade down 73 to 87 and i love my 84 but i am looking for more of a project that i can do with my dad all on our own! my 84 is preeety much done with major work and it now gets driven around and taken to shows and enjoyed but there is always room for improvement. Any ways, there is a fellow down the street from me that has a 1960 fleet side with the wood bed and it is factory 4x4 that i was looking at. seems really solid for a MA truck and from what the window sticker says he bought it from a body shop in Rhode Island who bought it new and used it to move cars around there lot. As stated it is the 4x4 with the 3 speed standered and i think it is a six or maybe a small v8 it is a 2??. HE said it needs motor seals as it leaks oil, and i think it burns too. he has had it for a while and no one has ever gone for it. it is two tone light blue with white top. It has a rotted wood bed and the body has some rusty spots on the doors but it appears to be surface rust. I really like this truck and it sure is close (less then a mile from me) Also it has 58 ,000 original miles. HE is asking 4,500 for it which i think is alittle well actually way high but then again it is a clasic. i will get some pictures this weekend for yall and maybe you could help me figure what to offer hm

Thanks alot

Re: What to offer? price?

The pic you see under my name i purchased about a month ago and i paid 4600.00$ for it, it is clean, motor is tight, and the tranny has been overhauled, hope this gives you some indication of the truck is worth...
