...hey saw your wheels on the "show us your wheels " thread...and was wondering if you had those redone..or bought them from some co. that refinishes old wheels..i've seen a few co. out there doing that...those kick ass !!!! but you cant buy them like that anymore...

I bought those wheels from a guy that had 6 wheels and wouldn't split them up. He had (2) 15 x 10's, (2) 15 x 8's, and (2) 14 x 8's. I sold the 14's to get back some of my money. A friend of mine owns a machine shop and he let me put the wheels up on a brake lathe. I started with 180 grit and worked up to 2000. I finished them off with Wenol and then taped up the lips and glass beaded the centers. It took about 3 hours but it really brought them back to life. I should have taken a picture of them before I started. Thanks for the compliment |

well let me say u did a awsome job on those..i would have sworn they were brand new!!!..alot of work but well worth it ...ecspecially on something you cant buy anymore....
