big hub 44

i was just wondering if anyone new where to get new or used lockers for the big hub perferably factory i havent found any aftermarket i like yet because of the way the step up

Its the same as a regular 44, just has thicker tubes and bigger hubs. Guts are the same, and no front GM axle ever came with a locker or posi, only CUCVs, and certain ones.

I haven't seen the blue knobs available for years, I used to be able to buy the red ones (ford) from spicer, but I think even those aren't avial anymore.

No factory front lockers is true, but they did put Eaton posis in some front axles in the '67 - '72 trucks. I have seen pictures of option stickers on this site that list the front posi.

Off topic of course since he was asking about lockout hubs.
