WTB: 396 Eng. Block
WTB: 396 engine block , bare . My two blocks didn't make it thru the magna-flux process , both had cracks . One is repairable , the other is junk .
At this point i'll also consider 427 and 454 , no tall decks . Thanks .......................................... 409

Are you looking for a date coded one?
I have a couple of complete 396, 2-69 trucks 1-66 chevelle been decked and has open chamber heads( 375?)and a 67 chevelle 396/375 Would love to put a 409 in my 57 swb big window but realistically 348 3x2 would be nice |

Yeah Oregon's not too far , i'm just looking for a reusable 396 block , doesn't really matter what it's out of , or year . I'm getting a pretty big pile of throw away parts , lol . That's the problem with 40 year old engines i guess .

I have one like qksilver's a 66 375 horse 396, forged crank, closed chamber 98 cc heads. Its in AZ though, if you are interested I can freight it to you, just PM me.
