Putting my 69 4x4 back together, might need help
Here is a heads up,Im starting to put my 69 K10 long fleet back together today so I might be asking some questions along the way.Im going to put the body on,then put the 350/4 spd in as soon as I find a transfer case. Then a lift and 35's are going on,I guess the short bed project is getting put in storage for awhile while I work on this.I will be sure to post pics along the way. Here is how it looks now:

Good luck with the assembly. And feel free to ask away, we have all been there...or will be.

Re: Putting my 69 4x4 back together, might need help
My goal is to have it back together by the first anniversery of me owning it(Thanksgiving). Before I got the Short Fleet k10 this was going to be a ground up resto. but I decided I was just going to put it together and drive it since I would rather spend the most money on my Short Fleet.I have the side markers, tail lights and reverse lights in and now putting on the other door.

Re: Putting my 69 4x4 back together, might need help
Both doors are bolted on and functional. The bed is in place but the bolts I had to bolt it on were for a body lift and were to long so I guess I will be getting some new bolts.I have whats left of the front clip off so I can drop the 350/4 spd. in but my quest to find the transfer case isnt going good. The only one I found was out of a 87 Blazer which is a NP 203 and it wont work so the motor will just have to sit in the garage dripping out oil for another week

It was on the 71 C10 I owned awhile back. The swan was on that truck since atleast 1975.It will be rechromed and will go on my swb K10 on the rollbar between the fog lights.

Well,Tomorrow the rockwell T-case and 4 spd are going in and hopefully the motor will be close to going in.I need to finish the topend on it first though.I am going to post some more pics tomorrow(hopefully).I switched the passenger door off for a different one and got the latches for the doors on.

Re: Putting my 69 4x4 back together, might need help
Got the clip on,I need to do some work to get it to line up with the rest of the body though. It will all come back off so I can put all the bolts on and the inner fenders on.My friends thought it would be funny to put a foresale sign on but I didnt think it was, although I have had an offer or two from people wanting a 67-72 4x4.Pics:
