WTB: door tripod mirror elbows

I need a good pair of the round tube 90° elbows that mount the mirror head to the tripod arms for the below eye line mirrors found on our trucks. These mirrors came in 3 different tripod sizes but I beleive elbows were the same. I have seen 2 versions. 1 was chrome elbow with threaded stock on end and other was stainless elbow with threads in the end that bolt goes into. I am looking for a pair of the latter with threads to accept bolts. (both ends of elbow)

Any laying around?

I think some are longer than others.

Re: WTB: door tripod mirror elbows

cheyenne 10, I don't have an extra set of the stainless steel arms but do have a pair painted style with threaded stud if interested. If wanting the stainless I found them at a place in Wichita, Ks. (Truck Stuff, Inc.) that carried a set of them when I needed some for my 4x4. They are SOLID stainless steel with the internal threaded holes. Look for Delbar Products PN # 620C-11 located in Perkasie, Pa. 18944. Arms were $18 ea. about 2 years ago but are SOLID and not hollow tube cheap chrome plate. If you searched the 'net I would think you should be able to find Delbar automotive parts locally or check with your favorite parts house. Hope that info is some help to ya.

Bob,
I have a bunch of mirrors on the trucks I just bought, but I am not familiar with the styles or terms your using (All I am used to is the chrome sport mirrors) Do you have a pic of something similar to what your are looking for?

Re: WTB: door tripod mirror elbows

I took these off this 72 the other day. They are listed as below eye line on the glove box, but are painted white. Not sure if that is what you are looking for!
