Re: Got my new wheels TTII's

Beautiful truck, however I must agree about the wing. Dropping the wing would make it such a clean truck! Wheels loos sweet!

I have the same wheel/tire size in the back of my truck. How low are you on each end, and what method did you use to achieve it. I am using 5in springs in the rear and I think I want to go 6in.

Also, I hear you have a 468??? If so, and if running posi in the rear, did you use stock posi unit or one out of something else? Or did you go with a Limited Slip Diff?

Thanks!
Jesse

Re: Got my new wheels TTII's

PS - sorry, but for once I gotta agree, I like the wing. I think it breaks up the back end of the truck. Normally it looks stupid, but in that pic I think it looks alright.

I've always liked the looks of that truck but the wheel change really sets it off!

Re: Got my new wheels TTII's

Thanks for the pics. I have a set of mid 90s chevy truck buckets in that ugly marroon color and I'm painting my truck candy apple red. I think it'll clash so I might pick up a set of 2000+ chevy buckets. I've seen a few people running them.

Re: Got my new wheels TTII's

Did you remove the gas tank so that the seats fit? What kind of mods did you have to do to make the seats fit? Thanks

I moved the gas tank to the rear. Don't think it would be necessary but gives more room. Re-drilled all the holes for the seats and made a 1 1/2" spacer to raise the front of the seat up.

3" dropped spindles 2" blocks and air bags. Don't know how low in inches but the rear end is up to frame and headers and lying on the ground. I'm running a loc-rite. I like it.
