'86 K10 brake line help
I have a long '86 K10 and the intermediate brake line that runs from up by the transfer case to back by the rear axle has gone bad. I checked Advance Auto, LMC, Chevy Duty, The Right Stuff Detailing, and Fine Lines, and it looks like nobody makes this line. Anyone have a good one to part with? Otherwise it looks like I'll have to have one made...would Midas or Meineke or someone like that be able to make one up without having the original to work from? Thanks!

Re: '86 K10 brake line help
Turns out that Right Stuff does indeed have the 2-piece line kit. I was using an older PC and a dialup connection for my searches yesterday and never saw the "Chevy/GMC Trucks" category on this page: http://www.rightstuffdetailing.com/parts_catalog.htm
I ordered it this morning and hope to have it by the end of the week. Brad |
