Learn something new everyday!
I have been messing around with these trucks since 1990 and until recently I never realized there was a big difference in the BARE frame of a 2wd and a 4wd.

That's true but it's not difficult to make a 4x4 out of a 2x4. Been there done that.

Well, I guess thats true, but it would be pretty easy for some to tell it was a 2wd frame at some point.

I just learned that the knob to the right of my original radio is a cigarette lighter....grant it I have only had the truck 2 months and the radio doesn't work so I haven't messed with it...but ....maybe that makes you feel better!

You're absolutely right, however I doubt I'll ever sell my pickup so I really don't care. I've owned it for 36 years and unless I total it before I die, I'll let someone else deal with it someday.
