Is this a fair asking price?

I hope this isn't considered cross posting, but hopefully you guys can provide some input.
I just posted my 71 C20 in the classifieds for $10k. I have close to double that into the truck, and while I don't expect to make all my money back out of it, I feel that it is easily worth the asking price?
I had it on Ebay, and it didn't even get to $6k. The winner of the auction wanted to back out (long story), which I had no problem with considering the low final price.
So....is this a fair asking price (not knowing how the market is currently), or am I going to have a tough time of it. To be honest, I don't need to sell it, but I use it so infrequently, that it seems a waste to have it sitting around. Since I completed the conversion (mid 2005), I have just a tad over 3k miles on it (that is what the odometer reads as I had to put in a new speedo with the electrnic tranny).
Any words of wisdom?

I think it's a fair price from what I've seen but Ebay buyers bid based on worst case scenarios and without actually seeing the truck, they will bid low. If I had an extra ten grand, I'd probably buy it. You just need to find the right buyer.

I just sold the truck in my avatar for more than what I paid, yet it didn't sell by the previous owner when he had it on ebay. Then the other day I had aguy ask to look at my trucks and if any was for sale and I told him the blue one and the price. He took it for a drive and came back with cash the next day. Mind you, the price I gave was intended for him to not want to buy it even though there was considerably more in the truck.

If your in a hurry, you may have to deal. If not, you could probably get more.

Thanks for the comments. This certainly isn't a fire sale, so I don't mind waiting for the right buyer. I still love driving her, so she can hang out in my driveway as long as she wants....
I figured the right coast guys would clammer for a 100% rust free rig.....
