What are "echo tips"????

Really what are they. A friend of mine says he has some echo tips on his pickup but I haven't got to see his pickup. He also claims that he doesn't know what makes it "echo" just that someone told him they were echo tips. Are they just the resonated tips or is there something else to them. They sound kind of neat to have. If you know could you please show me a picture or link to a store, and tell me what the "echo" is.

No they are not whistler tips he likes a more throaty sound.

Oh yea he says they are Dynomax because they have it imprinted on them or something but I have yet to find dynomax tips on dynomax's website.

Re: What are "echo tips"????

I didnt understand a word the guy said in the video... but I am from the land of norwegian accents and canadian ehs

My pickup has echo exhaust It dumps below the cab through worn out glasspacks and echos through the interior driving me nuts and making it impossible to listen to the radio.

soon I wil have full length exhaust with MUFFLERS!!!

Re: What are "echo tips"????

Echo tips or Echo cans are nothing more than large chrome tips with no baffle in them.

Re: What are "echo tips"????

So it is not a specific brand or style but just a design? So any big long tip that is straight through, no resonator, and no baffle is considered an echo tip.
