I'm getting toward the end of my restoration on my 72' GMC truck and ready to put the front bumper back on and there are two big washers about 2-2 1/2" in diameter that go behind the front bumper and I forgot where they go behind the front bumper.Could someone please look on their truck and let me know where they go? Thank you. Dave

Hi Longhorn man,Do the washers go between the bumper and the bracket? I can't remember what the inner brackets look like and where the washers go. What does IIRC mean? Thank you very much for your help. Dave

they go between the bumper and the brackets that are bolted to the top of the frame horns.
