Post 79 3/4 ton 4x4

hmm i found a 79 or so 3/4 ton 4x4 sitting in a person's yard next to garage in town here earlier, been there for a few months at least, the tires have contact patches in the grass, can tell its been there for a while, but grass is trimmed under truck, so hmmm...
i left a note on house door to cxall me about whats happening to truck,
any tips on how to help score the truck maybe ? i usually have decent advice to others on how to do this, but when its down to me trying to get one i seem to forget how to advise, lol

thanks!

haha, i am about to offer a guy 100 dollars cash for a 69 short bed witha camper top and a bran new radiator, and fairly new exhaust. he said he wanted 300, which i think is a good deal, but he said that off the bat too, so who knows, man if i was you, look up the blue book price, think about what you could sell it for in parts, or what it is worth to you whole, then offer him about 1/4 that, (unless its a rediculous low amount, or you know he will say no.) good luck!!
