VIN help please
VIN CE240B159274
What I know is that it is 69/70 custom camper. All options ie p/s, p/b, a/c, rear leafes. I would like to find out what the rear end is likley to be. It is a dana 10 bolt. The glove box decal does not say anything about the rear end. If any one could help that would be great. Thanks, Mario

It's a 1970. Now about diff ratios... it could vary.... it is more than likely is 4.10 but it could be 3.54 also. I have seen either in trucks without any glove box indication. If it was a BB it would be 3.54 more than likely unless it was identified as 4.10 option in the glove box sticker.
V8 could also mean a 350 engine or even a 307 in that year. Being that its 3/4 ton i would suspect 410 if it had either of the small block engines.

The sticker lists a 396. My area of concern is weither or not it would be posi. I am not buying the truck for the rear end, I am after a few other options that are on it but posi would be great. There is no engine or trany in it so I may have to pull the cover to find out. The current owner has no idea what is in it. Did the customs have posi?

Posi was not part of any option group at all.
Does the diff look like this? I only ask becouse many ppl don't know the Eaton?corp from the Dana untill it has been clarified to them. This is the eaton/Corprate rear. |

No longhorn, it is a dana 10 bolt. I guess that after I buy it, I will have to remove the cover and look.
