Headers for a 4wd K5

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help out. I'm looking for a pair of headers for a 350 for an '85 K5 Blazer, 4wd. I am looking for either stainless steel or ceramic coated headers, so they wont look all nasty and will be easy to maintain. I want short headers because I want to tuck the exhaust up close as can be to the body. The previous owner cut the exhaust back by the tranny crossmember, so connecting the new headers in is required anyway. I am just wondering what shortie headers fit? I've found a couple applications, but not sure if they'd work Can someone please help or tell of ones you've used? Here are some I've found that look promising to what I want. Thanks
Brandon

Re: Headers for a 4wd K5

they are full length but the hooker COMPETIONS[not super comps] are higher than the frame rail and clear the tcase with only a minor bend

I am wanting to stay with shorties. Just for my personal preference. Do you know of any other Hooker headers that fit that are shorter? Thanks

Re: Headers for a 4wd K5

I think just about any that work with a 2wd will work on a 4wd, as far as headers go. I think I may have a new set of coated shorty headers at my rent house, but I would have to check. I bought them for my 77 2wd Blazer, but never installed them.

Do you think any of the applications I listed above would work? If you can, get a picture of those headers you may have if you have them, I'm looking for a set soon so I can start the motor swap. Thanks

Shorty headers arent worth the trouble unless you have the crappy log style manifolds. Otherwise your spending money on stuff that wont do a whole lot for performance and make plug changes harder and probably have to replace header gaskets every so often.
