Re: Looking for truck Pics...
Or maybe 10 calanders! How about a CD? I'd buy one! Not sure if my computer won't cough up a hairball if I try downloading a file of this size!

Re: Looking for truck Pics...
I was thinking of doing the same thing, maybe as a "for sale" screen saver, with most or all of the gross profit (after hard costs) monies to go to Josh for help with running the Board expenses. Most of the buyers would no doubt be Board members anyway. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
If you'd like, I have a folder on my computer of about 1700 photos in jpeg format of only '67-72 trucks, burbs, blazers, etc. I'd be happy to contribute. Everything from unrestored originals, to clean drivers, in-progress projects, show trucks, "go-fasts," etc. Just photos of other peoples' rides that I liked. Most were copied from Board member photo posts, and from for sale postings on ebay & other auction sites. Don't know about copyright infringements, when re-publishing thes pictures, so you'd be on your own with that issue........... Most all photos are pretty good quality, but some probably should be weeded-out & discarded. PM me, and I'll mail you a CD with the images burned to it, and you can have a ton of pix to add to the build of your screen saver project. Free. Think about a Board-benefiting fund-raiser project. That was my hope. |

Re: Looking for truck Pics...
Hey each year my company purchases a car themed calendar that we hand out to our customers, we purchase 500 of them. i wonder if i talked to my calander provider if we could submit 12 trucks and have them turned into the calendars we buy for 2008. just a thought, i'll have to ask how its done.
