Alarm??

I've got a 73 chevy. It's a 3/4 ton and it does not have power windows or locks. I was wondering if even though i DONT have power windows or locks if i could add an alarm system to this old thing? I've began putting so much money into the interior and my sound system ide feel safer with an alarm.. If so any suggestions?? Dont want to spend TOO Much...

Re: Alarm??

hmmm, there are tons of them out there...
http://www.directed.com/security/default.asp
big manufacturer of different brands, have a look.
I just installed a viper w/ keyless entry, forget what model, took more time getting the dash apart and back in than it did putting the actual alarm in...
Keyless entry in our trucks (if equipped w/ power locks) is a breeze.
And it does not matter if you do NOT have power locks for the alarm to work, it's an option.

Re: Alarm??

pcmcobra is right...the alarm you pick should have door sensors (if opened), hood/tailgate sensors, glass breakage sensor, and motion detector....they're out there.
