WTB: Big Block A/C brackets
I need all the brackets for mounting the A/C compressor on a 402 in my 72 pickup. if any body has extras please let me know.

They're very difficult to find. The odd part about it is this....the brackets for BBC trucks are the SAME as the ones in a 1968 Chevelle.
You can buy reproduction ones...pricey...but you can - for a Chevelle. oldmusclecars.com / "Classic Muscle" sells repops. Look in the AC/Heating section, they even have all the nuts, bolts, studs, and an exploded diagram. I'm not affiliated with them in any way...well other than being a customer. It's run by a Chevy dealership, and they do have old truck parts area.. Oddly enough they haven't even connected those dots. I discovered it at a Good Guy's show here in Fort Worth. "Waaaaaaaait a minute...those Chevelles are SWP and Passenger side AC on BBC...." And yep...they sure are. HTH |

Possible that some board vendors have them. I know the Truck Shop of Orange, CA has them - www.truckandcarshop.com.
Somewhat pricey - there are 8 pieces.

You might also try Manes truck parts, he has alot of AC brackets. Atleast I've sold him alot.
