Yep, been there done that. Seems like too many people would rather use a jack hammer that a freakin saw to remove metal from their dash...IDIOTS.

I did the whole dash instead of the center replacement.

Re: what my 67 C10 looks like before the transformation

well im waiting to sell my 89 ford probe (i got the car for 2K, and spent more than 3K just keeping it running) for $500 so i can get a new carb, water pump, fuel pump, and radiator. Im going to go through a friend that works in an auto repair shop and he is able to get the parts for $256.00, i called down to the parts store and they told me roughly 200 for the radiator, roughly 200 for the carb, at that point i didnt bother to ask how much for the water, and fuel pump. i should have the parts in a little over a week.

Re: what my 67 C10 looks like before the transformation

if im almost thinking of selling my 73 vw super beetle, I know i can sell it to this older guy who fixes them up for 4K. He offered to use my car as a downpayment on this 72 SB that he was trying to sell for 6K and pay only 1K. (he said flat windshield SB's (71-72) are very rare in our area) back to the point that will get me a complete engine kit, HEI, headers , and the disk brake and lowering spindles that im looking at. now that i actually put it into words rather than let the idea bounce around inside my head i think thats what im going to do...and the boat, and motorcycle.........im going to drop so much money in this truck
