Auxillary Battery Tray Mounting

I'm looking to mount an auxillary battery tray I just picked up from one of the members and was looking for mounting advice. It looks like there is only one place to mount it but it seems like it sits about an inch higher than the passenger side tray. It sits up off the fender well unlike the passenger side that almost touches the fender well. Is this right? Anyone have some pics of an installed auxillary tray?

Thanks,
Whit

Re: Auxillary Battery Tray Mounting

My Suburban has one, and yep it's mounted a little higher than the passenger side tray is.

Re: Auxillary Battery Tray Mounting

The horn mounting point seems to dictate where the tray will mount. I have her installed now and it is a little higher than the passenger side but I think it is correct.

Thanks,
Whit
