Update on my 67 SWB
Well, I had thought about selling my 67 SWB and listed it a couple places including here. Got stood up by a few people and decided not to sell it afterall. Just about have it back together and ready to drive again. Had all of the bodywork done and had it painted BMW Moss Green with a flattener in the clear. Got my steelies and WWW's on as well. At the last swapmeet at Lagrave field I bought a bunch of repop parts for the interior, bumpers, trim, ect. Just waiting to get the seat back from the upholstery shop and finish my gauge cluster. Motor is a sbc and will have a 3X2 set-up on it. Still need to find another carb first.

Re: Update on my 67 SWB
Paint the top a darker shade of flat green. That'd set it off. Paint the grill openings white. Truck looks badass and straight as an arrow. Love the wide whites.

Love the white walls and the color of the truck. What brand and size are the tires.

Re: Update on my 67 SWB
That is a great looking truck! The black wheels with the moss green is the sweetness.
I am doing something like that with mine, only I went with flat black for the outside and I will do the bumpers and grill in satin black. I might have to go with satin black wheels rather than the red I was going to go with. I will roll a 3" white wall when it's all said and done. Glad to hear you didn't sell it, I would not be able to part with something that nice. |

Re: Update on my 67 SWB
Yep. Used to look like this. I've been watching your truck build up. Get the blue finished yet? Maybe we can get a board meet going sometime in the spring. I didn't make it to the last 2.

Re: Update on my 67 SWB
That's a pretty drastic makeover, looks sweet. Some one suggested paint the roof darker, that would look cool, if you metalflaked the roof that would be the cat's azz.

Re: Update on my 67 SWB
the only thing I think sticks out is the chrome bumper, are you going to do all the grill trim chrome?
