new here from NW GA. my project
This is going to be my winter project, I just bought this 1967 Chevy step side long bed. This going to be my first restore on a truck. There is a lot of good advice and tech tips here. I will have lots of questions to. The truck is in great shape, no major dents or rust. Here are some photos.

Re: new here from NW GA. my project
Nice! Big truck! I just bought mine about 18 months ago from someone in Gainesville, GA (I live in downtown ATL). Links to a photo gallery with pictures are at the bottom of my post here.
That's a sweet ride! Have you decoded the VIN yet to see if yours was made here in Atlanta also? Mine also had little to no rust, only rust I could find was under the battery tray (on the core support and part of the inner fender) and in the rear cab pockets.

Re: new here from NW GA. my project
Nice lookn' truck, I have a '71 LWB that is in about the same same that I'm planning on working over this winter also.
I've been through Ringgold Ga. There used to be a KOA campground there. Stayed there many times. |
