Got n e marshmellows??

Intake valve let go.... blew off carb, gas went everywhere... followed by a hot fire!!!.... all i did this weekend was fire damage repair...

i got a job again and having fun at it too

idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts

What do you mean by "Intake valve let go"? Did the valve stem break? If so, what does your piston look like? Did you over rev it?

Yes, it was a brand new engine!!! like only 6 months old, only running for maybe 3 hours.... during breakin we hered a odd tick, well, it finally let go on the side of the road. it was just a freak accident, the rod bent, then the lifters went all side ways, causing obnormal wear... and yea.... (see pics)

That really sux. Damage to body looks fixable from what I can see, did it burn the paint off of the hood ? Did the retainer break and then swallow a valve ? I wish they sold bad luck insurance, for when sh*t like that happens

ive heard people talk about pushrods that werent seated on the lifters right and that messed stuff up.. maybe that helps..

whell you should still have a garantee on the motor if not find the retainer back before doing any work on the motor .

there goes my confidence in rebuild or new motors (think i will rebuild it myself now )
