When I repainted my K-20, I had to replace the weather stripping(Obviously

) today was the first time I had it out in the rain..........and although the doors are fitting the body nice, and are tight(From what I can see and I don't hear air when I go down the road), it drips some at the tops of the doors. How can I tighten this up without adjusting the doors and screwing up everything else(body lines, latch, etc)

I just ripped all my trim out. I didn't realize the factory trim actually glued in place (I don't like that and wish there was another way!).

Anyone have suggestions on how to best install factory replacement (what glue, process, etc.), how to locate and patch air leaks, and any info on trim OTHER than factory that can be used? I heard people using Astrovan and S10 trim in their trucks. Not sure how diff't the install is.

shifty what year is it because the trucks that i'v taken trim off of is either popped in a hole or bolted on

Had the same problem with my 72......I ended up adjusting the door in slightly at the top and this seems to have cured the problem.....I have the painted on pinstripe down the side and the adjust did not even effect the way it lines up......good luck with it.....

I've currently got weatherstripping that I picked up at the junkyard from an early '90s fullsize Chevy truck.

Does it slip on, or glue on? What's it like while driving down the highway at a high rate of speed?

It just slips on and you'll have to cut about 2". It's a little thicker so you might encounter a little resistance closing your door, but it'll seal much nicer and no extra wind noise besides what's inherent in the truck.
