I located a straight 72 GMC front bumper today and a nice core support, would like to know if they are all the same across the years. I'm building a 67 GMC clip on the front of my 70 GMC shorty.

Ben... the only difference is the 67/68 GMC core supports have the "nut inserts" for the lower splash shield like the 67/68 chevs.. the 69 - 72 GMC core supports do not.

I know 67 used a chevy bumper without the notches for the parking lights, I'm not sure if they started the later ones in 68 or in 69. Either way, either one will work fine.

i belive the notch in the bumpers for parking lights started in 69. i have a new one in the wrapper it is labeled 69-72 gmc

i have a question isn't there a certain year or years gmc fenders would work on a 67-68 chevy or is that on a 69-72?
i know someone who needs a 67-68 fender and i have a 69 gmc front clip

all 68 - 72 GMC fenders, are the exact same as a 68 Chevy. (trim holes not withstanding)

I know where there is a stock 67 GMC sitting in Parkland rusting away. I'll drop by it and double check the front bumper. Anyone here a stock 68 that we can compare the bumper with?

Hey Longhorn man, I thought that 70 up GMC's had the recess in the fender for the grill. like the 69-72 chevy. I am not for sure though maybe I get educated also.

gmc used 68 chevy fenders. A lot of people find out after buying the wrong fender.
Look in any parts catalog at the part numbers.
Plus, if you look, you'll see the the grill is the same from 68 - 70, they just added outter trim (seperate pieces) and a larger top bar rivited to the grill starting in 69.

Well crap, I passed up a couple of good used GMC fenders for my 68 Chevy build. because I thought they had the recess. Now I know better.
