8 lug wheels 3/4 camper special
I was checking ebay for someafter market 8 lug wheels for the 78 camper special and noticed that some said would fit chevy, dodge & f*rd, are all 8 lugs the same and what would be the exact description of it, I mean the lug spacing and needed back spacing. I'm just starting and not sure what size, 16 through 18 inch I believe.

up untill the pooperduty[err superduty] all truck ran the same 8x6.5", the chevy and dodge are still 6.5" but the genius's at furd decided to change it to 8x170mm slightly larger.

99 and up Ford will be different. All the the ones will work fine!!!

The center holes are a little different on the older wheel

i have also heard that on the new 05ish + 150 have a non-symetrical lug pattern, the wheel will only go on one way, period.

Thanks guys, I'm just trying to find a set of after market wheels and seen many Boyds, Welds, Eagles on craigslist w/ 8 bolt pattern and not sure if they fit.

i dont know if expeditions are the 170mm or 6.5, the excursions use the same running gear as a pooperduty but the expidtions run an ifs system so............

thats my question.. like, are 1974 GM 8 lug rims the exact same as 1995 ford 8 lug's?
