posi rearend

Anyone have any pics of a correct posi carrier for 67-72 chevy trucks?I was looking in a part truck of mine and came across rear end I havent seen,but I guess maybe I haven't seen a posi.

you should post a pic of what you have,so we can see what you have and tell you. Most stock "posi" carriers were limited slips. has clutch packs on both side of the spider gears. Or it could be a detroit locker. it looks a little different. don't know how to explain it. I don't have any pics of one either.

I dont have any pics right now but there are 4 springs horizontally in it.

Any of the posi units will look the same car Vs truck They are just slightly different on some bearing sizes and the small details if you will.
I have attached a picture that shows the springs that would be typical in our applciations, these are the big giveaway to a Posi rearend.

Thanks for the pic thats exactly what I have.I wasn't for sure because it is in a 70 that had a 3 speed and when jacked up without trans both tires move in opposite direction so this was throwing me off.
