power booster redux

Hey Everyone

I want to know if these rivets are removable from the power brake booster by some other method then grinding or chiseling. I don’t want to damage the bracket or loose my core deposit on the booster. Are the brackets available for purchase from vendors incase I do?

Thanks

Bill's bowtie probably has a few sets. In my experience when you need a bosster that has riveted brackets, get the reman one or rebuilt one with the brackets riveted on. Taking apart the booster to use bolts requires special tool and would defeat your warranty. Get the correct booster for your application

Re: power booster redux

The booster I bought has bolts on it in the same pattern ready for mounting. They might not be small enough diameter to fit in the holes. I can't tell until I see what size holes are in the bracket. Where can I get one with brackets on it. I looked in LMC's catalog. The local auto part stores tell me I'm crazy, they only come without the bracket.
