You look like you are doing fine with your rig- it is coming along nicely and sounds like you are bringing it back from the dead, so to speak.

I think there is alot to be said for being able to go to a drive-in car show or whatever and talk intelligently about all the mods and details done to your truck- it all comes natural when you have done the work- as you have.

You hit a good point right on the head- you found something that works (floor shift) and got it back on the road. I bet there are a ton of these rigs and similar ones (including old F*rds, which can be pretty cool in their own right) molding away under tarps in garages while the owners await the time to begin or complete the elusive "complete restoration". The time is hard to come by, as many can attest.
