Where to buy alarm and components?
Im about to the point to put an alarm in my truck. Ive seen lots of places that sell the alarm kit that has the little box, some wires, and little remote button things. I bought one a long time ago from JC Whitney, I know, my first and last purchase from them, but I dont think I want to use it. Anyway, with that alarm it says I need all these other sensors and other things, like the hood thing, or the door sensors or whatever... Where can I get a good alarm and all the other components needed for it?
Thanks And before it gets brought up, I know the alarm wont make my truck unstealable..

Re: Where to buy alarm and components?
You can either order crap online, or most stereo shops that sell alarms have things like hood/door pins, shock sensors, and whatever else you might need.
Also, you can get some ok complete systems with sensors and whatnot from ebay for like $80 (for good ones). I myself am installing a paging alarm with door locks. Power locks are cool and it's easy to install. <edit> my setup is about $120 Last edited by jimmydean; 11-29-2006 at 04:52 PM. |

Re: Where to buy alarm and components?
Auto-loc makes alarms and complete keyless kits. check out their prices on their website, then copy the p/n because they're usually cheaper if you order through summit.
