Thanks for the compliment. It is a labor of love and wallet lightening. However, I try not to worry about the $$$, since it was my grandfather's truck before he died.

Good call on the old bumper! It is an old Ramsey design that was an option for the RE8000 in the early 80's. I've tried to contact Ramsey for more information, but they haven't returned my email or phone calls. The winch still works perfectly, so I plan to remove the bumper, service the winch, and sandblast the bumper. Then, I'll have a custom brush guard fabricated to fit on the old bumper via high strength stainless bolts. Everything will be painted black to match the new bed liner and future rear bumper that is being fabbed up in San Antonio now.

here is a pic of the stang i bought, if i can sell it quickly i will get an 89 notch, i found the notch a few days after i bought the lx
