Rim question-will it fit?

Is 6-hole Chevy from 63 same as 6-hole Chevy for 68? Are they 6 on 5.5? I'm looking at some used rims and tires. Came off a 63 Chevy.
Thanks,
trapperjack

odds are it'll work.
if you convert to 6 lug disk, you'll need 4X4 rims.

Re: Rim question-will it fit?

Except for a few oddballs*, virtually all 6-lug bolt patterns are 6x5.5. In some applications, the center hole size could be an issue, but the stud spacing should be the same. Also, watch the backspacing (or offset depending on which school of thought you subscribe to).

*off the top of my head:
medium duty Isuzu & Mitsubishi/Fuso cab & chassis trucks
Dodge Viper, Dakota, Durango
Mercedes Unimog
probably more I can't think of right now...

Thanks ya'll. Looking at 2 different sets. Both will let me take one and try it on. Back spacing is my biggest concern.
