Talking Aftermarket A-C kit who is the best?

Since we are having near record breaking cold temperatures here in north MS, I thought a thread about air conditioning would be comically ironic.

Seriously though,

I have a no air cab truck and plan to mount vents under my dash with no cutting a vent above the radio area. I have followed every A/C thread since I discovered the board so no "use the search" repies, thanks just the same.

My engine is a vortec 350 and I already have a passenger side A/C bracket from alan grove components. Truck is going to be an extra nice daily driver with only small time car showing as a possibility.

Don't have it yet, but I'm going with a Vintage Air set up, probably sometime next may when it starts to hit 80 degrees. From all I've read and heard, they are the best (or close to) out there. You can custom order your set up based on your cab and engine, or so I've been told.

Re: Aftermarket A-C kit who is the best?

Mine is a mid 90's GM Medium Blue Metallic, don't know if it's the same one your using or not? I found it in a paint chip book at NAPA and thought it was an awesome color, plus my truck was originally white outside with a medium blue interior.

I won't even be able to drive my truck from may to september if I don't get an air system put in it! 95 degrees and high humidity aren't a good mix!

I will also be going with a Vintage Air unit, seems to be one of the best ones out there that are actually set up for 67-72 chevys. The universal fit unit in my Studebaker works very well.
