3/4 to 1/2 ton conversion

hello i just bought a 3/4 ton chevy it has 8 lug wheels has anyone converted to a 5 lug set up if so what did it take?

Does your 3/4 ton have coils or leafs in back?
Up front, the easiest way to to do an entire crossmember swap from a 71 - 87, the later onew will be metric, but otherwise almost a direct swap. You'll have to egg or waller out a couple holes, but otherwise a simple remove and install.
The rear, just swap out for lighter duty springs, and a rear axle from a 71/72 if coil, or a 71 - 87 leaf spring rear.
