Inner Fender Removal
This site has been very helpful. I have yet another question. Can the inner (pass) inner fender be removed w/out removing the fender? I did a search and see it could be dropped for replacing the heater core, but don't know if it could be completely removed w/out complete disassembly of the front clip. Just picked up a mostly rust free replacement( for $10!, although it has a pinhole of rust) to replace my completely rotted original, but am not looking forward to removing everything to replace it. Did this on my 70 Skylark and it was not fun at ALL.

Re: Inner Fender Removal
Heres what you do...
Find an old ARC welder, if you crank the AMPS way up you can use it like a cutting torch.

Re: Inner Fender Removal
Yes it can be removed without removing the outter fender. It will help to remove the tire though...

Re: Inner Fender Removal
Real easy, undo all the bolts from the underside and it just slips out. I pull mine all the time to make engine work easier. Is your truck still at stock height? If so it should come right out, if you lowered it then you will probably have to remove the wheel.

Re: Inner Fender Removal
Cool, thanks! Stock height for the next couple of days, just received my drop springs, they will go in very soon.
