Retirement Truck
Well, I found it, on eBay, I won the bidding and I pick it up next week....
72 Chevy 3/4 Ton, 350, 4 speed. It has a couple of issues, vin # was for a 2 wheel drive, but I kept quiet and the owner fessed up to another bidder that it was a 2 wd body on a 4wd frame. Looks clean, some rot in floor pans, bed floor has some issues, better than average northeast truck. I'm putting all new suspension in (2 inch lift) so the 4 inch spring and 4 inch body lift goes first. I have a few more years (3&1/2) driving a big truck, so I'll have plenty of time getting this one fixed up. Just the thought of being back in a Bowtie and outta my present Toyota will make me sleep well tonight |

Re: Retirement Truck
Thanks, I restored a 77 a few years back, but I sold it, not the same as a 67-72.
It will be fun working on this truck, and I'm at the point in my life where I can afford to do it right and enjoy a nice truck for around town |
