WTB - pair of 76 cc heads or 1 487 casting

Looking for either 1 good 3973487 casting or any other pair of 76 cc heads like 882 or 993 etc. With or with out valves, does not matter. Let me know what you might have. Basicly any 350 heads from about 1971 thru about 1986 could work. Thanks.

Re: WTB - pair of 76 cc heads or 1 487 casting

Blue_71 got any details on those ? Condition etc ?

Solver - ya, rebuilding the original motor for the 71 C20, the POS temp engine in there has to go !! One of the 487 (nice ports) heads has 2 visable cracks though the exhaust seat and into the chamber, so now I have to punt (and scrounge).

The good news is I have never seen a 35 year old block with so little wear in the bores !!!

Need some heads guys - what ya got ???

i can get you some pics, i dont really have many details other than they supposedly came off a 77 camaro. i got them in trade with some other stuff and theyve just been on the shelf since then. i do have a third single 882, but i was told it needs new guides and seats. whats your zip? ill see if i can figure something out on shipping for you.

Re: WTB - pair of 76 cc heads or 1 487 casting

I have a set of 441 heads, removed from a 1970 Chevelle 350 with 80k miles on them. Complete as removed, 1 or 2 valvesprings stolen for other projects. 76cc, 1.94/1.50.
Shipping would be via DHL from 55944 (near Rochester, MN). Will take $125 for the pair.

Re: WTB - pair of 76 cc heads or 1 487 casting

I don't have the engine in front of me right now, but I have a 4 bolt main 350 with 76cc heads(pretty sure they are 76cc... need to look them up again to be sure) out of a 76 van that i'd like to get rid of. I can't split it up right now because it was running when we pulled it, but i'd let the whole thing go for $500.

i'm in waterloo, so i'm sure we could figure something out for getting it to ya. maybe meet in mason city or something.
