Headers (Smog Type)

I was looking at Mikes site and noticed that his Edelbrock TES headers have (4) injection tubes for each header. My stock manifold only have (2) each manifold. I would think that the (4) is better then (2). Thus resulting in slightly better emissions results.

OK for my question:
Does any of the other companies who make headers for A.I.R. systems make them with (4) tubes each header? Or do they have (2) like my stock manifolds?

Just curious. Not only does the (4) look better, but Im sure it works better too.

I received my package from Jet-Hot Coating, I filled out a form to receive some info on their poduct. Well anyway they sent me a ton of stuff regarding their coating. A VHS video a few catalogs and even some magazine articles about their product. And they shipped it to me rather fast. Im impressed with their service so far and I havent even had anything coated by them. I like how they will recoat it once for free (within 3 years) if your not happy. They will also fix a part (if rusts or coating related) if they coated it when it was a new part (lifetime). Thats impressive to me.

Where is the absolute cheapest place to buy the Edelbrock TES headers? I checked out Mikes site but couldnt find those headers on the web site he shows.

Eddie,

you'll not see anywhere that lists them I bet. It seems no one keeps them in stock. Your best bet is to call everywhere you can think of and get prices.

I bought mine at Doug Herberts, which is located in the same town I live in. I gave $350.00 plus tax for them almost exactly 4 years ago. They come with everything you need to install them, including both headers, all gaskets, y-pipe and clamps. They are made to hook straight up to the stock exhaust.
