They mounted them to something, cause they're in a Chevy.

Yes, they are Dodge seats. The center seat w/console box is exactly the same as GM...it is worth about $100 by itself.
The others would make a good "custom" covered set, look CST and not cost as much for the cores...IF the mounting brackets are OK.

Thats a crying shame especially the greyish blue truck, and it looks like there is some other good vintage tin, like the 70-72 chevelle or malibu, and on the edge of another picture I seen a gold chevy truck looked to be about a 63-66?. Just think once they go through the crusher their gone for good.

Hoyl crap I want to be able to take off work to go 'shopping'! I'd take that GMC front end in an RPM! And probably too much other stuff. Since that's in Minn, are there any floors left? I recall some yards back east had trees growing through some cars. Tough to pull parts that way, needed a chainsaw- but had a cordless Sawzall!!

Re: We all like junkyard pics heres some

If you want any parts, better hurry. When the crusher came to my old scrap yard, they cleared out about 600 cars and trucks in less than a month. I was making a small fortune selling parts on ebay. The owner let me and a buddy take as much as we could get for $100 a day. We were averaging about 2k a day off ebay. But the yard was 200 miles from me and I couldn't get there as much as I would've liked. Now it's all gone, gone, gone....

Man, I want that '67 GMC for parts! Why does it have to be so far away?

Re: We all like junkyard pics heres some

UPDATE: ram man was nice enough to share some info, so i went and checked these trucks out. The buddy buckets are not chevy. Nor is the frame underneath. He was talking about $125 for them. There are alot of useable parts plus a couple of v-6 gmc trucks. Not much for sheet metal. The one 68 chevy grill is pretty nice. But is now gone...
He knows there is some money to be made, so prices are not real cheap, but he seems pretty fair to work with.
A couple more pics.

Re: We all like junkyard pics heres some

I already did some wrenchin but ran out of time. He wants $75 for the spicer lockouts. They were in ok condition, but one spun easy, and i couldn't turn the other.
Jerry, good eye on the brush gaurd. One item i don't usually look for.
Does anyone know if the gmc v-6 fan shroud is the same as a big block chev???? There was a couple out there. They look similar...

Eric -

I need original lockouts for the Sierra Grande - any chance you could grab them? Or I could run there myself in a couple of weeks (if it is still there)
