What's wrong with this picture?

Is this choke hooked up correctly?

take a bigger picture so i can see the choke plate
looks like you got the incorrect choke spring if thats where it sits cold,
the loop that holds the rod should be closer to the manifold..
right now it would be in the center of travel

I think you have the wrong thermostatic spring. Mine is wound the opposite way with the rod to the front side. They make different types of springs.

heres a picture..
i will go take a picture of the correct coil cold
this coil is at 65 degrees in the garage

i know this is a little late but this is my new carb to get rid of the old coil type choke

this is a hot tube choke carb converted with a edelbrock electric choke conversion kit

i found it....i got a box of carb parts.. more than likely have the correct spring.

heres the correct brand new choke spring..brand new..
it's called a devorced choke spring
