whats wrong here?
i decided yesterday that i would look up my VIN # so i proceeded to then i found that my VIN said that my truck was a 71 GMC its GM but it aint 71 as far as i know it has the 70 grill and my insurance papers all say 70 so i dunno just curious i tried a few different sites and they all give me the same thing 1 acctually said it was 64??? i wouldnt trust that one any way any ideas?

That one is for a 69, and if I remember right, 70 too.
GMC VINs don't decode like a chevy. |

ya i checked it with the one on this site its where i first noticed a problem i didnt realize there was a difference between chevs and GMs thanks for the help guys
