Vent Window Question

There is a metal rod at the bottom of the frame that the window swivels on that I cannot see how it connects. In this view http://lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/0018.html it seems as though the rod is separate from the frame the window sits in. Mine looks almost like it was welded in place, as does the passenger side one that works fine. How does this rod attach to the window frame? Do I need to buy the entire frame the glass sits in or does this little metal rod attach some way that I am not seeing? Thanks.

Re: Vent Window Question

it's supposed to be welded..bummer...
a spring goes on that rod and gives the window tension so it don't blow shut driving...

o yea and welcome to the board
