Re: Power steering
I'm not to familiar with how these boxes work so I'm just guessing ,but was the box centered when the pitman arm was put on? I was thinking that if it was turned all the way to the right and the arm was installed then the right pressure port might not be opened. I know they have ball bearings inside them but I have never opened one or checked to see how they operate. Did it work and just quit or has it not worked since you got the truck?

Re: Power steering
I'm not at home till late tomorrow so I can't check any of my boxes to see if they stop internally when turned all the way R or L but if no one has an answer by then I will check. You may just have a bad box. I know that there is only one pressure port from the pump so if you have pressure one way then the pump is good.
