C10s in Classic Truck mag
Nice collection on the cover. Dude has got it bad for the 67-72 C10s. Did articles on 2 of his in this issue. CST is nice but I go for his driver.

Re: C10s in Classic Truck mag
Yeah I read them the other day. Those are some sweet trucks! The only thing I saw wrong was they were NOT in my driveway.

Re: C10s in Classic Truck mag
They haven't updated the site yet, there are some nice trucks on the cover. They average one an issue it seems, that's why I subscribe.

Re: C10s in Classic Truck mag
My wife was holding that issue up when I came in from work the other day. The green and white truck is a dead ringer for a twin of my K10! It made me want to change the color of my C10.

They mention a truck forum that discusses the mystery "Gumby Green" paint color and that is this site.

Re: C10s in Classic Truck mag
I told him about the board a couple of weeks ago when he called about the blazer half cab I had on ebay. He said he would check it out. Nice guy, stated that his DD is a 2wd 70 blazer ( in background of CT pics) and that the green/white c-10 has been sold. His father and him have the 67-72 bug bad. His name was Jose Martinez. He has a good stash of desireable parts too. am/fm's tilts, buckets ect..Need to check my mail box for the new issue.

Re: C10s in Classic Truck mag
same issue had the conversion to remove rag joint on steering, which is a project i'm about to do. the CCT from the same period had articles on how to go all tubular with control arms, crossmember and other crap.
lots of good stuff with 67-72 trucks lately. i read some commentary in one of them about how "these trucks are so common so we try not to do articles on them" and i was like, "WTF?!"

Re: C10s in Classic Truck mag
Ah, yes... truck porn. Used to get Classic Trucks, Classic Chevy Trucks, Hot Rod, Car Craft and a few custom/rod that I forget. The mailman hated me... so many mags and a small ass apartment PO box. After a month he just piled them in front of the boxes. Can't say that I blame him...
