Just wondering what is possible for me to clean up my interior. I dunno what to do. I have thought about new seats, but thats pretty expensive to get out of a tahoe or equivalent unless i'm missing something. I really honestly would like to keep the blue, but clean up the whole interior. Here are pictures of what i have, and i think i'll get carpet sooner or later, but should i maybe go with a black and blue theme or what?

I have a 72 and I went with black&blue on the inside.I painted the inside cab bahama blue,The door panels are hammered black with blue trimming.The dash and glove door are black.The trim around the gauges are blue also.The seat is going to be black with blue piping.As so as I get a dig cam for xmas I'll put pics up.It really change the look of my truck.

I think all i would do to that one... personally...
pull the carpet and take it to the coin op car wash... you'll crap yourself when you see the filth that'll come out. Let it dry on your picknick table or back fence... may take a few days. While the carpet is out, you can clean the floor real good and you'l know what you have...as far as floor condition. Clean out the cab corners while you're in there.
I would paint the glove box door black... personal preference... helps even out the dash IMO.
Get a new inst panel bezel... I think Rick's has them for 30 bucks or so... the new chrome on there does wonders. You'll get to clean up the guages while you're there, paint the needles if you like, white overlays for the guages are like 20 bucks.... then I'd get rid of the school buss steering wheel... you can go aftermarket or junk yarding... lotsa cool wheels in the junk yards.
Then wax all the sheet metal in there real good.
So for about 100 bucks, you're cab will look great inside.

I think it would look nice if you got a different steering wheel and painted the heater box blue to match the rest of the interior.

I like the previous 2 suggestions, I'd get some kick panel speaker covers too. Looks pretty good to me otherwise.

The steering wheels from the 90/91 Suburbans look real good and fit perfectly in our trucks. I'd post before and after pics of my interior with one of those wheels but I'm having puter troubles at this point and dont have my pics on my harddrive.

I forget why it's not in park, but if i remember i'll let you guys know. So new dash bezel, black glove box, and what else? Should i put in carpet or leave the vinyl? How do i paint the glove box?

Also, Where can i find a good looking new seat upholstery?

What ever you do carpet wise, don't get rid of that original vinyl mat, those I think are sweet when they are taken care of.
