1953 3/4 Ton GMC - 5 Window
I have been searching for a while and I found a collector that may be willing to sell me one of his.
It is only missing a couple bumpers, but the truck is straight, has no rust and is all original. We reached a deal on the price of $2000 Cdn, do you think this sounds about right? Or is it too high? The truck is a 3/4 ton long box right now, I plan on shortening the box when I retro it. thanks az |

Re: 1953 3/4 Ton GMC - 5 Window
Hi Alz,
$2000 seems reasonable, but you may want to find a shortbed truck to build instead of modifying a longbed. I live in Edmonton and am building a 56 1/2 ton. I have friend that is building a 53 for his son and a 51 for himself. He may be a good source of parts for you. Have you tried Scotts Super Trucks in Penhold? They seem to have parts and complete project trucks as well. Ross |
